The Manitoba Neuroscience Network fosters inter-disciplinary fundamental and clinical neuroscience research and disseminates the progress of their constituents to the wider community.
The first scientific meeting of the Manitoba Neuroscience Network was held in 2010. Since then, the success of the meeting has grown and investigators, clinicians, trainees and community members have attended the meeting in ever increasing numbers. We are therefore pleased to announce the 8th annual meeting of the Manitoba Neuroscience Network. This year, for the first time, the meeting is being held on the Fort Garry Campus of The University of Manitoba. In highlighting some of the diverse neuroscience research taking place within Manitoba, this meeting has two themes: Neuroscience Throughout the Lifespan, and Behavioral Neuroscience. The goal of the meeting is to foster communication between stakeholders in order to reaffirm and strengthen all aspects of neuroscience research taking place within our communities.
We are excited to be co-chairs of the 2018 MNN Meeting. This year’s meeting will feature as keynote speaker Dr Lisa Saksida from Western University, an internationally recognized investigator in the area of neurocognitive processing in the healthy brain and in disease.
We encourage you to register for this meeting to learn more about the research and opportunities in your community in a setting which encourages social interaction.
Thank you to all sponsors, speakers, and attendees. Welcome to MNN 2018!
