- Manitoba Schools Science Symposium
The Manitoba Schools Science Symposium is the largest science fair in Manitoba, with over 550 students from across the province participating each year. The competition is held in April at the University of Manitoba’s Fort Garry campus, and is open to students in Grades 4 to 12.
The MNN is proud to support our future neuroscientists by offering awards for the best neuroscience-themed projects. The awards consist of a cash prize and certificate, and are awarded in each of the following categories:
Elementary (Grades 4-6)
Junior (Grades 7 and 8)
Intermediate (Grades 9 and 10)
Are you interested in doing a neuroscience project for MSSS? Many MNN neuroscientists welcome elementary and high school students into their labs! To find out more about their research, visit our Scientist Profile Directory, and then contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
